The scarf is chiffon. It's supposed to be light weight. The type of fabric is clearly described in the listing.

5 out of 5 starsSomething to brag about! Genuinely hand crafted making this item a wonderful gift. I had two of the same bracelets made for both Grammy and GiGi. They opened them before Mother's day and are absolutely in love with them. A picture of my son is on one side and a picture of my daughter on the other. Both grandma's have a hard time closing the clasps on bracelets so they never wear them. This bracelet, however, is clasp free for easy on easy off, one of the many perks of the bracelet. The seller makes the images so clear that it looks like my kids are standing in the bracelet. The seller is also easy to get a hold of and responds back quickly with any questions I had. Shipping is fast and a cute note is included at request. I am so thrilled that this gift made the grandma's so happy.
